We use organic single origin beans sourced from the Purosa region in the eastern highlands of Papua New Guinea. The coffee is shade grown under canopies in the midst the rainforest, whilst the volcanic soils and plentiful rain provide great conditions for growing arabica coffee. Our coffee is provided under fairtrade guidelines and we have twice visited and met with the growers to ensure our beans are entirely traceable.
Typically wet processed (washed), a fine New Guinea coffee is deeply dimensioned yet well-balanced, with mild and mellow yet broad flavours that provide a bright and clean taste – a classic, delicate sweetness complemented by an exotic, complex and fruity aroma.
An extensive menu of organic coffee and cakes, as well as fresh daily soups, salads and sandwiches. Catering for vegetarians and vegans. We also have a selection of gluten-free snacks, if you’re coeliac or just on a diet fad.
